Program Details
M. Tech. Programme in structural engineering is specialty in civil engineering which deals with the design, construction and maintenance of our surrounding infrastructure, such as buildings, bridges and tunnels. A structural engineer possesses the specialized education and experience needed to design and evaluate a structure that is safe for its intended use. The Indian construction industry is contributing around 10% towards India’s GDP and one of the key drivers of its Economy. Hence, the field of Structural Engineering will be in demand towards fulfilling the infrastructural development process with safety and economy. This course contain core subjects like advance structural analysis, Advance design of concrete structure, Advance design of steel structure, Earthquake engineering and foundation engineering. The major subjects are taught by studio method with live projects to enhance the practical knowledge of students. The subjects are taught by industrial experts and experienced core faculties.

Eligibility
Passed Bachelor Degree or equivalent in relevant field from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category)
