About the Centre
Aatmanirbhar Bharat through skill development – is one of the transformative Mission of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's to build the strong nation.
Resonating deeply, Ganpat University has created a strong path in nurturing Skill based Industry oriented Academics in India during 2 successful decades of the Foundation. By equipping individuals with industry-relevant skills, fostering entrepreneurial innovation, and promoting self-reliance, Ganpat University has developed active Centre of Excellences in campus.
Centre of Excellence for Choco Bakery is a groundbreaking initiative established through a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Food Industry Capacity & Skill Initiative (FICSI) and Ganpat University. AAK India Private Limited extended Equipment support for Bakery product manufacturing as part of CSR program. This COE aims to create a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to skilling, upskilling, and reskilling professionals in the bakery and confectionery sector. The Centre embodies the essence of the Skill India Mission by facilitating individuals with industry-relevant skills, fostering entrepreneurial innovation, and promoting self-reliance.
The Centre of Excellence for Choco Bakery aspires to become a Premier Global Hub for training and innovation focused on skilling, upskilling, and Reskilling both aspiring and seasoned professionals of the industry. By integrating cutting-edge technology, sustainable practices, and entrepreneurial development, the CoE seeks to revolutionize skill development in the food processing industry
- Training programs are tailored for students, aspiring entrepreneurs, existing bakers, and their assistants.
- Specialized training for trainers and master trainers designed to meet corporate and industry needs.
- The CoE intends to promote and mentor the innovation and venture creation in the bakery sector as Global Incubation centre for Bakery industry
- The CoE envisions to train more than 3000 young professionals every year under this center.
Collaborative Roles:
FICSI: Under this collaborative venture FICSI Provides curriculum design, assessment tools, certification frameworks, placement support, and guidance on establishing sub-centers nationwide.
AAK: Provided Major equipment for establishment of the Centre.
Ganpat University: Hosts the CoE on its campus, integrates bakery courses into academic programs as electives, manages day-to-day operations, and ensures financial sustainability.
COE at Ganpat University trains the students under Various Skill Courses
• The students will be trained by NSDC Certified High Quality Trainers at the COE, On completion of the course, they will be Assessed
This state-of-the-art center is all set to revolutionize education and innovation in the baking and confectionery industry, providing students and professionals with world-class training, cutting-edge research, and industry-relevant skills.
The COE is ready to sell the range of High Quality bakery products under the evocative and premium Brand name of “Saffron Crust… The Baketique Bliss”- emphasizing luxury, heritage, and quality.
