GanpatUniversity is located at a prime geographical location in North Gujarat and very much in the vicinity of well-known Milk City of India – Mehsana. It is well-linked to and easily accessible from most of the major cities of Gujarat. It is merely 70 kms away from commercial hub of Gujarat – Ahmedabad and only 45 kms from the capital city of Gujarat – Gandhinagar.
The university has a huge campus that extends to an area of 300 acres with picturesque landscape, numerous buildings of architectural grandeur and with various amenities and clean and wide roads. The entire campus is basked in greenery representing the symbol of harmony in eco-friendliness which adds to its natural beauty. The campus is divided in various zones:
1. Educational zone for educational buildings and workshops
2. Cultural-cum social and recreational zone for students
3. Residential zone for students
4. Residential zone for the faculty and staff.
The university has been synonymous to impartation of quality education in various professional and technical disciplines. With a view to developing all round personality of the students, the university emphasizes as much on sports as on academics. The university encourages students to attain sporting excellence and provides all the necessary facilities and equipments for their mental and physical well-being. The campus also offers facilities such as cricket ground, football ground, basket ball court, tennis court etc. Students are provided expert coaching on various sports. A health and fitness center is also functioning with qualified staff and trainers delivering programs for all ages, tastes and abilities- From Tennis to Yoga and Aerobics to weight training. GNU is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU), an organization promoting university activities especially by way of sharing information and co-operation in the field of education, culture, sports and allied areas. The infrastructure has been designed with food facilities for sports as well as recreational activities.
