Ganpat University - Centre for Bhartiya Knowledge System and Ancient Wisdom

Ganpat University and the township of Ganpat Vidyanagar, a high-tech education campus is a joint initiative, purely philanthropic in nature, by a large number of industrialists and technocrats, noble farmers and affluent businessmen for the mission of “Social Upliftment through Education”. The University was established by the State Government by the enactment of Act No.19/2005 on 12th April 2005. It is approved under section 2(f) by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In consideration of its contribution to the Education in a short period of time, the University has been given Permanent Membership in renowned Academic & Industry Associations, such as the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FICCI), All India Management Association (AIMA), Confederation of Indian Industry(CII), International Association of Universities (IAU), Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), Association of the Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), Recognized by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of Gujarat appointed Start-up Nodal Institute, Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), Student Start-up & Innovation Policy (SSIP), National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension (MANAGE).

Ganpat University offers various unique, quality, industry-linked and sector-focused Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research level programs (Professional and Non-professional) in the field of Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, Pharmacy, Sciences, Commerce & Social Science, Architecture, Design & Planning, Maritime Studies, Nursing, Agriculture, Physiotherapy & Optometry etc.

The Centre for Bhartiya Knowledge System and Ancient Wisdom stands as a beacon, dedicated to the preservation, exploration, and dissemination of the profound intellectual heritage embedded in India's rich cultural tapestry. In the spirit of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the center actively contributes to the integration of Bhartiya Knowledge Systems into educational curricula, fostering a sense of pride and awareness among learners about India's intellectual legacy. Gujarat Sahitya Academy, Government of Gujarat

The Gujarat Sahitya Academy established in 1981, is a government institution dedicated to the development of the languages spoken in Gujarat, India and their literature. Literary activity is an expression of the entire Lok-Chetna (Mass awareness). It reflects the entire community, its culture, its folk life and social life. These six sahitya academies are working with a brand approach, so that this activity may be more progressive and purposeful, our literature can reach to the entire community, our materials of folk literature may be collected and in State and out of State, it’s gorgeous going on national or international level may be established.

The main aim of the Academy is to: 

  • Encourage organizations and writers in Gujarat to promote the development of Gujarati, Sanskrit and other modern languages
  • Promote the research of Gujarati folk literature
  • Collect and publish books of literature
  • Assemble and maintain a library
  • Recognize and aid literary societies
  • Publish criticism of various forms of literature
  • Organize birthday celebrations for noted authors
  • Award prizes for books published in different forms of literature
  • Award financial scholarships to students of literature
