GUNI has always promoted research for igniting the spirit of creating fresh knowledge, discovering new things, and developing new skills. Research and development appear to be the need of the hour. The purpose of this FDP was to provide a forum to exchange views, ideas & the latest innovations in Mathematics. During this FDP, experts from prestigious Universities & Institutes such as had delivered expert talks. This FDP brought together Faculties, researchers & students from academia as well as Engineers & Scientists from industry to have discussions on the “Recent Trends of Mathematics for Engineers and Scientists”. The FDP aimed at equipping participants with skills and knowledge to create a better society by guiding, training, and motivating them.
This faculty development Program was organized by the Department of Mathematics of Ganpat University from 25th July to 30th July 2022 on “Recent Trends of Mathematics for Engineers & Scientists” via online mode using the Zoom Meeting platform. This was a six-day Faculty Development Program where various related sub-topics were discussed in detail by eminent educationists which were followed by short online quizzes on the delivered topic. A very beneficial academic environment was experienced by participants. The quiz session was the all-time awaited moment for the participants.
The FDP held with the primary aim of exploring the fertile domain of mathematics and shining a light on the opportunities that lay hidden for future collaboration work witnessed an august gathering of dignitaries such as Dr. S.S. Pancholi Executive Dean, Faculty of Science & Faculty of Pharmacy, Ganpat University, V. P. Saxena, Founder President – Gwalior Academy of Mathematical Sciences (GAMS), Former Vice-Chancellor – Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Dr. Amit Parikh, Faculty of Science, Principal, MUIS among others. The dignitaries were welcomed by Ms. Krisha Shah, (Asst. Prof. of Mathematics, at MUIS, Ganpat University)
