Description

This year conference was conducted in the theme Economic Growth Drivers for Industry 5.0. Analytics & Automation, Innovation, Manufacturing & Logistics and Social Inclusion.

Industry5.0 (I5.0) has knocked the doors of revolutionary reforms in Technological, Manufacturing, Logistics and Operational sectors with competitive advantage. The recent Industrial reforms symbolized the compilation of a set of technical patterns defined by connection, integration and industrial digitalization, highlighting the possibilities for integrating all components in a value-adding system, Industry 5.0 is conceived at merging those cognitive computing capabilities with human intelligence and resourcefulness in collaborative operations. Industry 5.0 talks about supporting – not superseding – humans and Optimum use of Human intelligence for efficiency and accuracy.

The Conference is the premier interdisciplinary forum for social scientists, engineers, policy makers and practitioners to present their latest research results, ideas, developments, and applications in all areas addressing Economic Growth Drivers for Industry 5.O-Analytics, Automation, Innovation, Manufacturing & Logistics and Social Inclusion.

 

Gcemp2K23 topics include, but are not limited to, the following research and development areas/fields (more than 80topics) classified into 4 Sections. As a result, many Keynote, Tutorial and Technical Sessions have been prepared in accordance with conference scope to discuss the Challenges, Opportunities and Problems in the Economic Growth Drivers for Industry.

A total 21 research papers and 4 PhD thesis were presented during this Conference.

The first day of conference started with Welcoming and Opening Ceremony at the Ganpat University. Eminent speakers and esteemed dignitaries, namely Shri Ganpat I. Patel, Hon. Patron in-Chief & President, Ganpat University, Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Pro Chancellor & Director General, Dr. Sourbhi Chaturvedi, Conference chair & Dean of the Faculty of Management, from Ganpat University, Mangesh Khunte, Global Business Partner, Cognizant Talent Supply Chain, Mathew Manimala, Editor in Chief, SAJM, Former Chairperson- IIM- Bangalore, graced the inaugural function. Dr, Sourbhi Chaturvedi, Conference chair and Dean of Faculty Management studies rendered the welcome address.

Dr Mahendra Sharma rendered the ceremonial address highlighting the Economic Growth Driver Industry 5.0 that has knocked the doors of revolutionary. reforms in Technological, Manufacturing, Logistics and Operational sectors and insisted academicians and scholars to take its competitive advantage. While the rapid proliferation of the technological and analytical innovations are registered for economic growth and sustainability, the role of social inclusion is equally noted for the agility and customization in terms of assuring accuracy and efciency,which is an inseparable part of growth driver of Industry 5.O.

Mr. Mangesh Khunte, Director, Cognizant Supply Chain spoke about importance of the Economic Drivers 5.0. Sharing his views on the increasing adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, digitalization, and information and communication technology (ICT), Industry 5.0, also known as the fifth industrial evolution, Sir motivated the researchers to present their academic papers. Dr. Ganpatbhai Patel, Hon’ble President and Patron-in-Chief, Ganpat University highlighted the current trends of technology in the VUCA world citing The Apple business model.

 

Brainstorming on the Application of Strategic Management Concepts in the context of Industry 5.0.

The keynote speech was devoted to the stated application of the strategic management in the industry 5.0of strategic management was discussed. Sir showed that the modern business environment are characterized by rapid technological advancements and globalization, abetting by IoT and Industry 5.0 phenomenon where innovation is indispensable for competitive advantage and economic growth.

Circular Social Innovation: A New Paradigm for Sustainable Development

Dr. Mathew Manimala described the social innovation observations and studies from Industry 5.0 reflects a shift from a focus on economic value to a focus on societal value, and a shift in focus from welfare to wellbeing.

Innovativeness of Enterprises in the Era of Industry 5.0

Dr. Lobjeko accented Innovation gives smooth way to industry performance. Innovation management becomes the part of organizational strategic vision and mission, which makes the organization innovative from the very root. When innovation becomes part of the corporate strategy of the organization, top management will be fully committed to innovation, which will ultimately make the whole organization committed to innovation through the trickle-down effect of this commitment.

Workforce diversity and innovation in the 21st Century.

Dr.Enard Mutenheri, Senior lecturer at Midlands State University, Zimbabwe.

Dr. Enard citing case study from Zimbabwe and South Africa illuminated that diversity in workplace poses several challenges, it can be converted into an unenviable competitive advantage. Indian organizations too, more than ever will have to address this issue of diverse workforce and requires formulating a strategy for creating an environment where people will respect each other’s differences.

Climate change, Emissions trading and Carbon Sequestration.

Dr. Rao spoke that considerable part of the depleted SOC pool can be restored through conversion of marginal lands into restorative land uses, adoption of conservation tillage with cover crops and crop residue mulch, nutrient cycling including the use of compost and manure, and other systems of sustainable management of soil and water resources.

National culture `profiling' in machine-learning applications: The utility and ethics of applying value ascriptions in global alert models.

Dr. Parvati suggested thatthe typical practice of financial economics research, machine learning is often conducted with consideration of utility towardan application rather than in an interest of hypothesis testing. Being often solely data-driven,machine learning typically provides a forecasting, or in some cases a detection model, withevaluation of its forecast ability relative to random prediction.

Technical session was held on 11th and 12th February 2023 where researcher, academician and students took part to understand the Logistics Regression, Conjoint analysis, Cluster analysis and so many. This session was on Effective Research Paper Writing for Scopus/ WOS indexed journal publication and Advanced Analytics using SPSS conducted by Dr. Atul Shiva.Sir shared different strategies to publish research paper in the Scopus, Ebsco Web of Science and ABDC journals. He demonstrated the effective statistical tool -Binary logit model in SPSS software along with types of research, identifying the variables, hypothesis for application and interpretation. This technical session was tremendously beneficial to all participant to takefoot forwards in the research area.

It was moment where participant eagerly waited for the results to announce the winner of GCeMP 2K23– International Conference on Emerging Management Practices on Economic Growth Drivers for Industry 5.0. The winner received money reward, and opportunity to publish their contents in the ABDC and UGC Care journals.

There are two categories of research paper that is Conceptual paper and empirical paper. In Conceptual research paper, first prize secured by the Dr. Yupal Shukla and Dr. Jayesh Patel for paper titled “Investigating impact of person specific, outcome and process based “creativity” on marketing outcome: TCCM based review research agenda”. While second prize goes to Ms. Jolly Joseph, Dr. Mahendra Sharma & Dr. Suraj Shah for the title “Conceptual Model Mitigating the challenges faced by teachers in online teaching at primary schools Post Covid-19 ”.

In the Empirical research paper, first prize was secured by the Dr. Chinmay Baxi & Dr. Vipul Patel for the title “Decoding customer choice on food delivery services or technology: Incites from Covid 19”. Second prize winner were Chiragkumar Mitrasen Shah & Dr. Maurvi Vasavada for the title “What drives Mobile Payment Use Behaviour? An Empirical Analysis with UTAUT2 Model”.

In the best Ph.D. thesis category, Dr. Divyang Purohit Secured First prize on thesis title, “A study of factors influencing career choice among engineering students in Gujarat”.

Prof. Yashpal Jadeja, Co-convener, expressed vote of thanks on behalf of organizing and steering Committees to the Administration of organizing and hosting conference. The esteemed dignitaries namely Mr. Mangesh Khunte,Senior Director, Cognizant Talent Supply Chain, Dr. Atul Shiva- Associate Professor of Management in University School of Business, Chandigarh University & Dr. Mathew Manimala, Editor in Chief, SAJM, Former Chairperson IIM- Bangalore, were given citations as memento.

The valedictory function was attended by distinguished scholars who were unanimous that interaction during the international conference enhanced and improved their quality of research in industry 5.0 discipline.

Many attendees, paper presenters, keynotes and tutorial participants have benefited in many ways from this conference.
