ATISHRESHTH - 365 inspiring lecture series by 365 Distinguished Alumni organized by Ganpat University for the year 2024
ATISHRESHTH Distinguished Alumni Lecture – “Chemistry Aspects of Local Anaesthetics” was held on 31st August, 2024 at 01.00 pm in online mode organized by Shree S. K. Patel College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research. The lecture was co-ordinated by Dr. Satish A Patel & Ms. Ami P. Patel, - Chemistry Department. The lecture was addressed by Mr. Ronak N. Patel, (GUNI Ph. D. Alumnus – 2022), Associate Professor, Sharda School of Pharmacy, Pethapur, Gandhinagar.
About 55 individuals attended the lecture. Students of B Pharm V got the opportunity to interact with the expert in online mode. Many topics were discussed in the lecture including introduction to anaesthetics, classification, mechanism of action, SAR, QSAR, role etc. He explained SAR with interesting examples. He also briefed latest molecules as local anaesthetics. Students involved themselves with engrossing questions and got satisfactory solutions with examples that made the whole session interactive and successful.
