On successful completion of the course, the student will be competent to:

This course is designed to provide comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge required to prepare OT before surgery including process of sterilization.
Assist surgeons to perform common surgeries.
Perform basic nursing procedures like IV/IM/SC injections, nebulization, catheterization, oxygen therapy.
Trained in advance airway management, surgical airways, ACLS, BLS and ATLS
To take care of post-operative patients.
To maintain surgery records
Provide psychological support to patient and his relatives
