Certificate Diploma Program in EMG( Electromyography) & NCV ( Nerve Conduction Velocity)
Program Details
Electro Physiology techniques of Nerve and Muscle disorders involve nerve conduction and electromyography studies. Apart from that various evoked potentials including VEP (Visual Evoked Potentials) and SEP (Sensory Evoked Potentials) are used to diagnose optic nerve and many Central neurological disorders as well. This program develops the skills required to know the physiology and various pathologies of peripheral nerve and muscular diseases. This program also includes the teaching of RNS study (Repetitive Nerve Studies) to diagnose Myasthenia Gravis and other neuromuscular junction disorders

Program Outcome

Career Path
Work with physician to diagnose particular health problems. Observance of the electrical activity in nerves using electromyography equipment. Prepare patients for testing, which includes applying a conducive paste to the area where testing will be carried out, and attaching recording devices to the body
