The B.Pharm Programm of the college is approved by the AICTE and PCI, New Delhi. The college has achieved the distinction of being the first accredited college in Gujarat state by NBA-AICTE, New Delhi for its B.Pharm Programm in 2003 and being accredited continuosly three times till 2018. The college is an institutional member of ISTE and recognized research centre by Ganpat University and Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (PO)

PO. 1       Pharmacy Knowledge: Possess sound and comprehensive knowledge of core and applied sciences associated with the profession of pharmacy.

PO. 2       Technical Skill: Develop an ability to use various instrument and equipment with an in depth knowledge on standard operating procedures for the same.

PO. 3       Problem analysis: . Find, analyze, evaluate and apply information systematically and shall make defensible decisions.

PO. 4       Modern tool usage: Learn, select, and apply appropriate methods and procedures, resources, and modern pharmacy-related computing tools with an understanding of the limitations.

PO. 5       Planning Abilities: Demonstrate effective planning abilities including time management, resource management, delegation skills and organizational skills.

PO. 6       Leadership skills: Exhibit the ability to understand and consider the human reaction, leadership and team building as and when the planning changes which is required for accomplishment in the area of Professional and Societal responsibilities.

PO. 7       Professional Identity: Understand, analyze and communicate the value of their professional roles in society (e.g. health care professionals, promoters of health, educators, managers, employers,

employees).

PO. 8       Pharmaceutical Ethics: Shall maintain the high professional identity and render the services in the society as per the ethics and moral value given in Pharmacy oath and pharmaceutical jurisprudence.

PO. 9       Communication: Communicate effectively with the pharmacy community, being able to comprehend and write effective reports, make effective presentations and documentation, and give and receive clear instructions.

PO. 10     The Pharmacist and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to comprehend medical prescription, perform patient counselling and issue or receive clear instructions on drug safety and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional pharmacy practice.

PO.11 Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional pharmacy solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

PO.12 Life-long learning: Develop an aptitude for continuous learning and professional development with ability to engage in pharmacy practice and health education programs.

 

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSO)

PSO. 1     Drugs and Diseases: Sound knowledge of different classes of drugs, their mechanism of action, dynamics, kinetics, structure activity relationships, pathophysiology and pharmacotherapeutics of various diseases.

PSO. 2     Drug Development: High competency in to synthesizing, developing, analyzing and/or evaluating various pharmaceuticals and their formulations.

PSO. 3     Professional competency: Innovative and having aptitude for research, effective communicator, strong leadership and entrepreneur ability in order to embellish true professional identity.

PSO. 4     Well-rounded education: Ethical on code of conduct, culturally competent and responsible citizen and true exhibitor of their role of pharmacist in the community.
