BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT SERVICES)
Program Details
This course imparts knowledge, skills, competency, communication skills, troubleshooting/problem solving, professionalism and willingness to learn, adapt and to be flexible. The courses provide job opportunities in Desktop Support Services Management, Server & Backup Management, Network Management, Database Management Administration, Messaging System, Security Services Management, Storage Management, VPN Services etc. after the course. Apart from the master's degree, IMS postgraduates also have the opportunity to attain global certifications like the CCNA, CCNP , CCIE,MCSE etc., which are internationally recognized Certificates offering global career growth path. Eligibility
Passed (10+2) examination or equivalent with English and one out of these subjects, (i) Maths (ii) Business Maths (iii) Statistics (iv) Economics (v) Book keeping (vi) Accountancy (vii) Computer (viii) Elements of Accountancy Lateral Entry: The students who have passed Diploma in (Computer Engineering/ Information Technology Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronic Engineering with minimum 45% in General category and 40% in reserved category)

PO-6 | Generate solutions by experiments and applying routing techniques to analyze network data supporting disciplines to complex software systems |
PO-7 | Evaluate, verify, trouble-shoot, test and analyze an existing computer-based system, process, component or program. |
PO-8 | Configuring network security by implementing firewall authentication |
PO-9 | Identify different storage techniques and strategies on legacy data for legitimate users for future use |
PO-10 | develop software (application),evaluate user requirements for software functionality required to decide which programming language can meet user requirements (analysis), propose the use of certain technologies by implementing it to solve the given problem (synthesis) |
PO-11 | choose an engineering approach to solving problems, starting from the acquired knowledge of programming ,knowledge of operating systems(evaluation),and knowledge of communication with leadership role |
PO-12 | starting and shutting down a system, managing printers and performing regular backups. Delegates taking this course will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to perform these tasks by project in a team or individual |
