- Develop National Occupational Standards (NOS) for diverse job roles based on the feedback from the industry.
- Learn about the skills needed in the rubber, chemical, and petrochemical industries and use Skill Gap Analysis (SGA) to help plan for capacity building.
- Establish a process for the training companies that offer short- and mid-term courses in a variety of trades to affiliate with them.
- Ensure quality in training delivery by affiliated institutes.
- Perform evaluations and certify the trainees, assessors, and trainers.
