Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT Mr Rajiv Chandrasekhar addressed new start-ups, entrepreneurs and students at Ganpat University in Mehsana

Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT Mr Rajiv Chandrasekhar, who was present at the ‘New India Multi-Opportunity Program for Young India’ at Ganpat University in Mehsana district, said that India has emerged as the world's most dynamic start-up ecosystem with over 70,000 registered start-ups and 100 unicorns in the last 7 years.
He added that Gujarat is inspiring students and start-ups to pursue their passion for innovation. "Innovation will shape the future of us as well as the nation," he said, adding that start-ups and entrepreneurs would take the Indian economy to trillions. On this occasion, he spoke to the students in a fireside chat. The Minister answered various questions asked by the students delightfully.
The much-awaited part of the visit to Ganpat University was the Minister’s Fireside Chat with the students of the University. Responding to questions from students in the conversation, the Minister said, “Focused Hard work, tiring efforts and invention are the keys to your success in India now. He added that this is the new India that Narendra Modiji is building with lots of optimism and opportunities. This situation is due to the active policies of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s central government and the Government of Gujarat.”
Three students at Fireside chat asked several questions in the dialogue. Their questions covered issues like his childhood, early education, blockchain, cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, machine learning, metaverse etc. The Minister answered all the questions satisfactorily and provide them with vital information about drone technology, the space sector as well as other issues. The students asked about the entrepreneurial journey to questions on digital India and what would Techade offer to the youth. Questions were also invited from students in the audience and start-ups throughout the session. The students were impressed by the Minister’s extensive knowledge of the subject matter.
Mr Rajiv Chandrasekhar who himself is a technocrat, a successful entrepreneur, an active MP and an active advocate of technology-related policies, serves as an ideal inspiration for the younger generation. This visit of Minister Rajiv Chandrasekhar is also part of his mission to encourage students and start-ups across the country to acquire skills in emerging technologies. On this auspicious occasion, the Minister gave certificates to the start-ups of Ganpat University and encouraged them.
Mr Kuberbhai Dindore, Minister of State for Education, said that Ganpat University has truly embodied the statement "Upliftment of Society through Education". He added that Dada's dream of upliftment of this society has come true through service-minded students. The lasting prosperity of the society can be achieved by giving importance to education for the holistic development of the society. Ganpatdada has done such a wonderful job. He pointed out that Ganpat University has become the first and only university in the country to have a Japan-India manufacturing unit.
At this juncture, Padma Shree Dr Ganpatbhai Patel, President of Ganpat Uni addressed the gathering online and informed them about the university and its achievements. MLA Mr Ramanbhai Patel, leading businessman Mr Govindbhai Patel, Mr Anandbhai Patel, Commissioner of Higher Education Mr M. Nagarajan, Director of Technical Education Mr G T Pandya, Pro-Chancellor of Ganpat Uni Dr Mahendra Sharma, Vice-Chancellor Dr Rakesh Patel, Registrar Dr Amit Patel, Registrar Dr Vishwat, other BOG Members, Deans, Institutional Heads, Principals, Professors, Teachers and students were present heartedly.
