Ganpat University- Kantaben Kashiram Institute of Agriculture Sciences and Research had organized a program to plant 100 saplings and young trees in our campus to celebrate G20 presidency of India with a unique idea. The objective of this event was to teach students, how we can save our land, soil, water and air form disaster impact. This was a great initiative to make our atmosphere neat and clean. By tree plantation, we can develop a climax ecosystem free of greenhouse gases to reduce global warming and disaster impact.
Students and faculty members were asked to reach 9’O clock at marine hostel ground. The program started with prayers. The forestry coordinator (Assistant professor) guided students on how to sow seeds and plants. Assistant professors also participated in that event to help students and plantation. Students started the event by planting the first sampling in the marine hostel ground with his hand after that all the students of B.Sc.
