Report on “One day seminar on Research Ethics ”
Description
In the field of education, one of the mindsets that academics must possess is ethics. When it comes to deciding what is right and wrong, ethics also plays a crucial role as a guiding principle for researchers, particularly in the field of computer science. Academic culture appears to be morally deteriorating or declining in terms of both instruction and the dissemination of scientific research. The volume of scientific crimes committed by those in charge of publishing scientific works appears to be evidence that moral principles are no longer significant and are frequently disregarded. The objective of the workshop is not to evaluate the "judgmental" behavior of computer science researchers, but rather to pinpoint the factors that lead to such behavior.
Contents of the workshop/Seminar:
● Values that are essential to collaborative work.
● Accountable to the public
● Moral and social values
