One day workshop on Stratified Random Sample & Multi-stage sampling
Description
The goal of a workshop is to establish a setting where Stratified random sampling is a widely used statistical technique in which a population is divided into various subgroups, or strata, based on some shared characteristics, and a group of people can get together to talk about issues, generate ideas, pinpoint issues, make decisions, and develop solutions. Stratification is done to make sure that every stratum in the sample is represented and to draw conclusions about various population subgroups. When the population is heterogeneous and a simple random sample might not yield reliable results, this technique is useful. The stratification of the population allows researchers to ensure that their sample is representative of the population and free from biases associated with sampling.
