NSS Camp at Sunak - 2024
Description
At the beginning of the academic year, the program officer of the NSS unit identified the camp area with an initial survey and consultation with rural people and the sarpanch of the village. Subsequently, the plan was designed and submitted to Ganpat University for final approval.NSS Unit of Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies, Ganpat University, Kherva (BCA Department) organized a seven days special camp in “Sunak” village situated in Mehsana District from 3 rd Jan 2024 to 9 th Jan 2024 under the guidance of Prof. Nilesh Patel. The number of students – volunteers who participated in the camp was 40.According to Census 2011 information the location code or village code of Sunak village is 509262. Sunak village is located in Unjha taluka of Mahesana district in Gujarat, India. It is situated 7km away from sub-district headquarter Unjha (tehsildar office) and 32km away from district headquarter Mahesana. As per 2009 stats, Sunak village is also a gram panchayat. The total geographical area of village is 765.43 hectares. Sunak has a total population of 3,122 peoples, out of which male population is 1,581 while female population is 1,541. Literacy rate of sunak village is 77.51% out of which 84.12% males and 70.73% females are literate. There are about 740 houses in sunak village. Pincode of sunak village locality is 384170. When it comes to administration, Sunak village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. As per 2019 stats, Sunak village comes under Unjha assembly constituency & Mahesana parliamentary constituency.
