International Desktop Seminar on Chemical Sciences-2022
Description
National chemistry week-2022 celebration was organized by Ganpat University, Chemistry Department-MUIS during 19th October – 21st October which was structured into the three session in International Desktop Seminar on Chemical Sciences. All the session was chaired by the Dr. Keyur bhatt, Dr. Trupti Barot. In the First session Dr. Mohd Athar (Research Scientist, Harbin Institute of Technology, China) deliver talk on how the catalytic Metal Organic Frameworks Based Sensors for Toxic Chemicals which include the detection of toxic Chemicals including heavy metals, anions, organics, and antibiotics are harmful to human health and the ecological environment. He discusses more about sensitive and reliable sensors for the determination of contamination through MOFs. In addition to these, He
discusses how we can prepare such kind of MOFs. In second Dr. Brijesh Pare (President- ACTna.) talk on “Serendipity is Scientific Discoveries” and Dr. Tapan Pal (Department of Chemistry, PDEU) deliver talk on Molecular Networks: Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and Porous Organic Frameworks (POFs) and basics of supramolecular chemistry-design, synthesis and its varied applications of functionalized Supramolecule. It would have its various applications in the field of detection of Metal ions, anions, Bio-molecules, explosives as well as life threating agents.
