“Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Program”
Description
Mrs. Parul Prajapati, Program Manager and Mrs. Archana Somani, Program
Coordinator at Ashirvad Foundation, delivered an informative session on breast
cancer symptoms, emphasizing the importance of self-checks for early detection.
They provided valuable insights into preventive measures, raising awareness
among attendees.
Following the awareness session, screening sessions commenced for female
faculties of the Faculty of Computer Applications. The screenings were conducted
systematically, ensuring privacy and comfort for participants. More than 53 female
staff members availed themselves of this opportunity, benefiting from early
detection and intervention.
The event was meticulously coordinated by Ms. Dipali Dave, Assistant Professor
at AMPICS, under the guidance of Dr. Krupa Bhavsar and Prof. Rina Patel,
coordinators of the Women Development Cell at the Faculty of Computer
Applications. Their leadership and support ensured the smooth execution of the
program, from planning to implementation.
